There was that gorgeous kiss, and a wonderful goodbye to Nine. And Rose's determination to get home ♥ And Bad Wolf Rose is amazingly fucking BAMF. That scene where Nine sends Rose away is so heartbreaking. I can see the whole of time and space - every single atom of your existence, and I divide them.Everything must come to dust. Protected from the false God.ĮMPEROR DALEK: You cannot hurt me. It's just an all round emotional, heartbreaking episode.ĭOCTOR: You've got the entire vortex running through your head. You get to meet Pete Tyler, realise how far the Doctor will go for Rose, and delve even deeper into Rose's character. It is without a doubt the only episode that isn't a season finale that can make me cry every time I watch it. The Doctor worked it out way back, but he - he tried to protect me. PETE: The car that should've killed me, love. And the bit where the Doctor's hanging there in the darkness is really beautiful too.
It's a brilliant story, the Doctor and Rose both have their time to shine. If I'm ever feeling like I need to be cheered up, this is usually the episode I come to.ĭOCTOR: If you get back in touch, if you talk to Rose, tell her. The Doctor talks in a sexy Scottish accent, Ten and Rose flirt all over the place and are generally very cute, and there's a giant werewolf. Kind of an small episode to have in your favourites I guess, but I really like this episode.
